FREMONT -- Johnny Flowers, 54, passed away Wednesday.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont, with visitation afterward.
Johnny was born in Wayne County April 18, 1959, to John Lester Flowers Sr. of Pikeville and the late Joyce Strickland Flowers.
Johnny was known as "the neighborhood MacGyver," and could fix anything.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a daughter, Jessica Flowers, and her mother, Denise Hinson, of Stantonsburg; two sisters, Olivia Flowers of Fremont and Dail Flowers Pittman and husband, Barry, of Pikeville; a special aunt, Dollie Flowers of Pikeville; and nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Services are in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
