Edwin "Eddie" Lee Vernon, 61, died at the home of his daughter Tuesday.
Memorial service will be Friday at Antioch Baptist Church in Middlesex at 6 p.m.
He was the son of the late Elbert Ray and Emily Marie Hill Vernon, formerly of Faison
He is survived by two daughters and a son.
Visitation will follow the service. At other times, the family will be at the home, 7612 N.C. 39 in Selma.
