John Carroll, 63, formerly of Duplin County, died Thursday at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern.
Funeral will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home chapel in Rose Hill Saturday at noon, with the Rev. Gregory Carr officiating. Burial will be at Maxwell Cemetery in Rose Hill.
He is survived by a daughter.
