KINSTON -- James Arthur "Butta" Franklin III, 20, 205 E. Capitola Ave., died Nov. 5.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John Free Will Baptist Church in Kinston, with the Rev. Dennis Fullwood officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery in Kinston.
He was born Feb. 5, 1993, in Lenoir County to James Arthur Franklin Jr. and Tonjua Parker.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation will be Friday in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home from 1 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
