NEW YORK -- Edward Pigford passed away Wednesday morning.
He was born April 21, 1938, the son of the late Hicks and Helen Pigford of Calypso.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Pigford; daughters, Laura P. and Arthur Steinart and Sherry P. and Chris Sutton; two granddaughters; a grandson; a brother, Tim Pigford; and a sister, Adele P. Baker.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Elias and Douglas Pigford, and sisters, May P. Vernon and Virginia P. Yoe.
Funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 2, in Bath, N.Y.
