JACQUELINE CARROLL COBLE

Mrs. Jacqueline Carroll Coble, 86, passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Memorial services for Jackie will be held Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at 7 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory. A private burial will be held at a later date in Julian, N.C.

She was known as Jackie to all her family and friends.

Jackie was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church, and a member of the Hilda Radford Sunday school class.

Jackie was born June 4, 1926, to the late Winfred and Minnie Carroll in Stokes County.

She was the widow of Carl Dewitt Coble. They were happily married for 51 years, and made their home in Liberty, N.C. Jackie and Carl were devoted to each other, and where you saw one, you generally saw the other. They loved to travel, and were active members of Macedonia Baptist Church in Julian, N.C.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jackie was preceded in death by her son, Danny O. Bennett.

Jackie is survived by her son, Tony Craig Coble and wife, Patsy, of Goldsboro; her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Betty Carroll of Liberty, N.C.; grandchildren, Beth Jones and husband, Eugene, and Paige Hartley and husband, Andy, of Goldsboro; great-grandchildren, Eric Jones, Bryan Jones, Adam Hartley and Zach Hartley all of Goldsboro; and a great great-grandchild, Ansley Elizabeth Jones.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be sent to Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 N.C. 581 South, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530, in her memory.

The family will receive friends at the home of her son and daughter in law, Tony and Patsy Coble, 102 Silver Fox Circle, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
