James "Jimmy" Kirby Creech, 104 Emmitte Drive, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral service will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Carl Sutton will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Barnes Creech, and a son, Dwight Creech of the home.
Mr. Creech was retired from APV Co.
He served with the Army National Guard for seven years.
A native of Johnston County, his parents, Eva Inez Peele Creech and William Aaron Creech, and a brother, Charles Phillip Creech, preceded him in death.
