KATHERINE AILEEN FUTRELL EATMON

WILSON -- Katherine Aileen Futrell Eatmon, 31, Wilson, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at home after suffering a chronic illness.

A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, 202 N. Goldsboro St., Wilson.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. The Rev. Marty Stebbins will officiate.

Katherine was a graduate of North Carolina State University, and an avid Wolfpack fan.

She was a creative and talented artist who loved animals, traveling, the outdoors and riding on her four-wheeler with her husband and her daughter.

Katherine had an avid thirst for knowledge; she was an invaluable part of her family business, Futrell Farms.

Katherine had a desire and a need to help others by being a volunteer with the Red Cross, and she was an organ donor.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Kyle Eatmon Jr.; her daughter, Alexandria Kate Eatmon; her parents, Lamont and Francis Futrell of Wilson; her in-laws, Ivana and Bobby Kyle Eatmon Sr. of Wilson and Kimberly Bass Hodge of Kenly; and Bobby's grandparents, Juanita and Bobby Eatmon of Wilson.

Arrangements are by Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson, N.C., 252-237-3197.

Directions to St. Timothy's Episcopal Church from Raleigh Road (264 Alternate): Left on Goldsboro Street. The Church is located on the corner of Green and Goldsboro streets.
