WILSON -- Jerry Edmundson, 59, Wilson, passed away Monday.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Joyner's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Patsy Jones will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Thursday evening prior to the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.
Jerry was a loving husband and father who spent his free time with his grandchildren that meant the world to him.
Jerry's hobby was drag racing.
He was a good friend to many and a kind person that would do anything for anybody. He will be truly missed and thought of often with warm and loving memories.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Pam Edmundson; his daughter, Angela Drew and husband, Scott, of Wilson; his son, Travis Edmundson and wife, Katie, of Sims; his grandchildren, Dylan and Katlyn Drew and Evie Grace Edmundson; his mother, Mildred Edmundson; his sisters, Joyce Hill and husband, Robert, of Fremont, and Liz Edmundson of Eureka; his brother, Jimmy Edmundson and wife, Juanita, of Eureka; his sister-in-law, Louise Joyner and husband, Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert Edmundson.
