Jerry Wayne Howard, 62, of Lucama passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Wilson Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Monday evening, Jan. 28, 2013, at 7 p.m. at the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Mr. Howard was born in Wilson County on Feb. 25, 1950, to the late James Franklin and Edna Evans Howard.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janice Howard; two sons, Wayne Howard and wife, Bianca, of Cary and Kevin Howard of Lucama; one daughter, Jennifer Soto and husband, Christian, of California; one brother, Greg Howard and wife, Kim, of Lucama; one sister, Joyce Hooks and husband, John, of Pinkney; a sister-in-law, Sandra Howard of Wilson; and one grandchild, Lio Howard.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Howard.
