SHABAZZ A. WOODS
Shabazz Arness Woods, 18, of 402 E. Mulberry St. died Thursday.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at noon at Bethel Church, 2308 N. William St., with the Rev. Earl Dancy officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 20, 1994, in Wayne County to Tara Phillips and Sebastian Woods.
Shabazz is survived by his parents, Tara Phillips and Sebastian Arness Woods; siblings, Chaketa Brewington, Misheka Woods, Chicoda Woods and Keyola Edwards; grandparents, Gloria Phillips, Earl Miller and Doreen Miller; great-grandparents, Mabell Robinson and Obediah Robinson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 until 6 at the Haskins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the residence where they will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession. Condolences may be posted at www.haskinsfh.com.
