The Rev. Shelton and Wanda Whitman, pastor of Sims Pentecostal Holiness Church, announce the homegoing of Wanda's mother, Irene Ruth Kunau.
She was born in Yoder, Colo., Jan. 31, 1929.
She died in North Carolina Jan. 4, 2013, after a short stay in Carolina East Quinn Hospice Care Center in Kenansville.
Irene Kunau will be memorialized at Sims Pentecostal Holiness Church, 6249 Main St., Sims, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.
