FAISON -- Helen Virginia Barksdale, 90, 1312 Warren Road, died Sunday at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Moses Chapel Disciple Church of Christ, with elder Kendall Clark, officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Leonza and Sarah Westbrook Elliott.
One son survives.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 5 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
A wake will be from 6 to 7 p.m. at Moses Chapel Disciple Church, with the family present.
At other times the family will receive friends at 154 P.W. Moore Road, Faison. The funeral procession will line up there at noon Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession.
