Darlee McCullen Parker, 84, passed away Thursday evening at The Brian Center of Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be today at 4 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
She was born in Sampson County to the late Claude and Bessie McClenny McCullen and the wife of the late Woodrow Parker. She was a charter member of Adamsville Baptist Chuch.
She is survived by three daughters, Denise Butler and husband, Gene, of Charleston, S.C., Janey Godwin and husband, Charlie, of Charleston, S.C., and Margaret Lewis and husband, Carl, of Goldsboro; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial gifts be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
