Lois Wiegand Jeannette, 86, passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at her home.
A native of Goldsboro, she was the daughter of the late Herbert C. and Rosa Bell Pollock Wiegand, and the widow of the late Johnny D. Jeannette.
She was a member of Westwood United Methodist Church, and was retired from General Electric Co.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at 11 a.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Rufus Butner officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service, and other times at the home of Margaret Wiegand.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Jeannette Dixon and husband, Thomas, of Spokane, Wash.; her three granddaughters, Jamie Morgan, Jennifer Dowd and Jeannette Andrea Dellinger and husband, Jarred; and her three great-grandchildren, Lauren Morgan, Thomas Morgan and Paige Dellinger.
She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Wiegand of Goldsboro; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Laverne Wiegand of Goldsboro; her two sisters-in-law, Helen Wiegand and Margie J. Hinnant; and a special nephew, Bill Best.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Richard, Herbert and Charles Wiegand, and her sister, Alice Laws.
