LINDA PERSON BURKE

Linda Person Burke passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Feb. 6, 1943, in Wayne County to the late Isaac and Lula (Peele) Person.
Linda is best remembered for her love of animals.
She retired from Southco in 2004.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry Burke; five brothers, Isaac "Jack" Person Jr. and Gene Person of Pikeville, Larry Person of Four Oaks, Bill Person of Mount Olive and Thomas Person of Louisiana; two daughters, Lisa Lightcap and her husband, Ken, of Pennsylvania and Jerrilynn Biggs and her husband, Scott, of Clayton; and four grandchildren, Morgan, Bradley, Brandon and Kaylyn.
She was predeceased by a brother and three sisters.
Family and friends will gather to share memories and fellowship in her home Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 2 to 5 p.m.
