Mrs. Wilhemena Edwards Miles, 76, departed this earthly life peacefully Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
A ser-vice celebrating Mrs. Miles' life will be held Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church in LaGrange. Pastor Michael Johnson will officiate, and she will be interred at Wayne Memorial Park South Cemetery, U.S. 117 South, Dudley.
A public viewing will be held Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, from 3 to 7 p.m., and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro.
Mrs. Miles is survived by a sister, Mae E. Stanford of LaGrange.
Services are entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel Inc., 423 S. James St., Goldsboro.
