Susan Spencer Broadway, 57, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Susan was born in Delaware, Ohio, Sept. 22, 1954, to the late Charles Spencer and Margaret Brown Spencer. She was married to the late James Ray Broadway Sr.

Susan retired from Wayne Memorial Hospital as a schedule coordinator. She was presently employed at Western Sizzlin, whom she considered to be her second family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer and the Rev. Jeff Dail officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

Susan is survived by her sons, Norman Ray Broadway and wife, Rebecca, of Mount Olive, James Ray Broadway Jr. of Goldsboro and Justen Broadway and fiancee´, Sherri Strickland, of Goldsboro; and her grandchildren, Nathaniel Broadway and Brook Lee Broadway.

She is also survived by her sisters, Sally Spencer, Sara Spencer and Sheryl Spencer all of Goldsboro; her brothers, Robert Spencer of Goldsboro, Ronald Spencer of Florida and Richard Spencer and wife, Dawn, of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at her residence at 204 Krystal Circle in the Saulston community.
