FOUR OAKS -- Eleanor Edwards Porter, 80, died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012.
Funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Four Oaks, with the Rev. Dick Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Porter Family Cemetery.
She is survived by sons, Whit and Elaine Porter of Four Oaks and Edward and Hope Porter of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Tim Porter, Jeff Walters, Shannon Porter, Dustin Porter, Blake Howell and wife, Brittney, Faith Dotter and Jon Dotter; great-grandchildren, Edwin Porter; and sister, Irie Autry of Dunn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Faison Porter, six brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m.
