LeeRee Simmons, 64, of 806 Harris St., died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Eulogistic services will be held Wednesday at noon at St. Mark Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ). Mr. Simmons' custom-made full couch casket will be placed in an authentic 1898 Cunningham Horse Drawn Hearse for his final journey to the Elmwood Cemetery.
Loving memories are held dear by his children, Tony Lee Daniel, of Raleigh, and Shabreta Harris of Goldsboro; his siblings, Ora Simmons Davis, James Frank Simmons and Lillie Barnett, all of Goldsboro; and his fiancee, Ivey Hill of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 until 4 p.m. in the Lander Coe parlor of Haskins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. at Holly Hill Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) in the Beston community.
The family will receive friends at other times at the residence as well as at the Barnett residence, 606 Robinson Place, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
