Shirley Rollins Smith, 77, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at the Brian Center.
Shirley was born in Wayne County Feb. 14, 1934, to the late James Marvin Rollins and Roxie Hardy Rollins.
She had worked with T.A. Loving Co.
Shirley attended Grace Baptist Church, and will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery, with the Rev. Johnnie Crawford officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 58 years, George Leroy Smith; her daughters, Roxanne Silva and husband, Dan, of Pikeville and Janice Crawford and husband, Johnnie, of Grayson, Ga.; her son, Lawrence Smith of Goldsboro; her sisters, Carolyn Thomas of Wilmington and Gertie Rollins of Leland; her brother, Kenneth Rollins of North Wilkesboko; and her grandchildren, Deborah Silva and Hannah Silva of Pikeville and Jason Crawford of Grayson, Ga.
