TEACHEY -- Martha Huffin Alston, 92, of 144 Pine St., died Thursday at Carolina East Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Byrd's Chapel Baptist Church, Rose Hill, with the Rev. James Faison presiding and the Rev. Dr. Jefferson Hufham officiating. Burial will follow at Huffin Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late William and Luberta Thompson Huffin.
Viewing will be today from 3 until 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and one hour prior to funeral service at the church on Monday.
