PEGGIE ROUSE

Peggie Rouse died at the age of 81 Thanksgiving day after a long illness. She passed away at her home, 3102 Cashwell Drive, Unit 1, Goldsboro.

She leaves a large circle of dear friends and family.

She was the daughter of Eddie and Esther Jones of Goldsboro, and the sister of the late Sadie Kelly Smith, the late Ray Jones and Kaye Mozingo and husband, George, of Verona, Va.

She leaves two sons, Richard Bailey of Atlanta, Ga., and Randy Bailey of Raleigh, and two grandsons, William Bailey Montague of Denver, Colo., and Noah Bailey of Atlanta, Ga.

Many knew her through her work as an interior decorator, her association with Madison Avenue Baptist Church and, most importantly, as a dear and trusted friend to so many in our community.

She was married to the late Richard Bailey Sr., the late Irvin Montague and the late Bud Rouse.

She also leaves many beloved nieces, nephews and stepchildren.

There will be a memorial service at Madison Avenue Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 27, at 3:30 p.m.

Friends and family are welcome to visit at Mrs. Rouse's home.

In her spirit of giving to others, she leaves her remains to Brody Medical School.
