Geraldine Harper Sugg, 71, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Geraldine was born in Wayne County Sept. 9, 1940, to the late Gardner L. Harper and Beatrice Jones Harper. She was married to the late James Douglas Sugg Sr.
Geraldine was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church for more than 40 years.
Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating.
The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Geraldine is survived by her son, Randy Harper; her daughters, Kim Cutway and Michelle Howell; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Harper of Goldsboro.
