CORINE LANE BRASWELL

Corine Lane Braswell was born Aug. 24, 1943, to the late Martha Jane Lane and Milton Lane Sr. in Wayne County. She departed this life Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
In her early age, she met and married the late Matthew James Braswell Jr., and to this union two children were born.
She attended Norwayne High School of Fremont.
She worked at Acme United Corp. in Fremont.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories two sons, Demetrius M. Lane and Gary C. Lane both of Fremont; five sisters, Loraine (James) Wells, evangelist Dixie Jo Reid, Carol (Jimmy) Rivers, Renita Todd and Gloria (Curt) Vick all of Fremont; two brothers, Mark Lane and Milton (Anne) Lane Jr. both of Fremont; two grandchildren, Staci Johnson and Talisha Johnson both of Goldsboro; three great-grandchildren, Parisse Brewington, Martrayveon Weeks and Tatiyanuh Hardy all of Goldsboro; two aunts, Nancy Revis of Fremont and Dot (William) Locus of Goldsboro; an uncle, James Forsythe of Kenly; five brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; 15 nieces; 15 nephews; 12 great-nephews; 16 great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home.
A service of remembrance will be held Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Greater Morning Star Holiness Church, 705 S. Sycamore St., Fremont.
Following the services in the sanctuary, Ms. Braswell's delicate temple, along with her adored family, will be escorted to Fremont Cemetery for interment rites.
Ms. Braswell's earthen vessel is peacefully resting at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home, where the Braswell and connected families are receiving prestigious service.
