ISABELLE L. PERKINS

Isabelle L. Perkins, 78, formerly of 204 Brewington Drive, Dudley, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011.
She was born to Bertha Mae and Remmie Lofton, June 12, 1933. She was reared in Seven Springs, along with 11 other siblings. She married Vance Perkins Jr. and reared six children in Dudley.
She was preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Vance Jr. and four siblings: Lucille, Remmie Jr., Nathan and Alonzo Ray; two sons, Kary and Carlos and her daughter, Teresa.
A service of remembrance will be held Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 215 Sleepy Creek Road, Dudley. Pastor Daniels will officiate. She will be entombed in the Mausoleum of Wayne Memorial Park, South, Dudley.
Viewing will be held Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., Goldsboro, from 2 to 7 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at the residence of 218 Brewington Drive, Dudley, where they will assemble on Friday at noon in preparation for the procession.
Left to cherish her memory are three sons: Luther (Shirley), Vance (Estelle), and Carl (Gloria, deceased) and seven siblings: Lola Mae Edward, Caroline Jean Manior, Peggy Ann Cobb, James Lofton, Milton Lofton and Emma Lofton.
Services have been entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
