KENLY -- Charles Raymond "Butch" Binkley, 68, passed away Saturday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Montgomery County, Tenn., he was the son of the late Emanuel and Ida Haley Binkley Williams, and was the husband of Cathy Parrish Binkley. He was a member of Emmaus Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Air Force.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Emmaus Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Sasser officiating. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Binkley is survived by two daughters, Pam Kohnen and husband, J.R. of Dudley and Jennifer Paynter and husband, David of Ramstein AFB, Germany; stepson, J.B. Howell and wife, Brandi of Angier, N.C.; five sisters, Patricia Schillaq of Mich., Barbara Taylor and husband, Burnell of Petersburg, Va., Sue Miller and husband, Joe of Tenn., Deborah Binkley of Ind. and Linda Williams of Tenn.; two brothers, James Binkley and wife, Joyce and Danny Coleman and wife, Pat; 10 grandchildren, Brice, Mitchell and Haley Kohnen, Reese, Samuel, Luke and Ben Paynter, Makayla, Noah and Isaiah Howell.

Mr. Binkley was preceded in death by a son and daughter, Chuck and Kelly Binkley.
