John Renfrow, 95, resident of the Brian Center of Wilson, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2011.
Service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Rocky Branch United Church of Christ, 5968 N.C. 581 in Kenly, N.C., with the Rev. Harvey Hartsfield officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Loving memories are forever cherished by his wife of 76 years, Eula May Boykin of Wilson; daughters, Louretha Johnson (George) of Goldsboro and Marie Vann Clark of Washington, D.C.; son, John Donald Renfrow of Wilson; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minnie Ayers (Harvey) of Goldsboro and Ruby Holley of Wilson; and a host of other special relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 1017 E. Vance St. in Wilson, where it will also assemble one hour prior to the service in preparation for the funeral procession.
Caring and professional service has been entrusted to Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Wilson.
