KENANSVILLE -- Lattie Fulton Houston, 89, of Kenansville, passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2011.
A visitation will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. today, Sept. 11, 2011, at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Devotional Gardens.
Mr. Houston was born in Duplin County Jan 4., 1922, to the late William Oscar Houston and Dessie Lee Wilson Houston.
Mr. Houston is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Jessie Rae Houston of the home; daughter, Sharon and son-in-law, James Shaver, of Kenansville; granddaughter, Caroline Zimmerman and husband, Sean, of Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Jessie Louise Porter, John Robert Kelly and Sienna Zimmerman.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Houston was preceded in death by sons, Glenn Houston and Gary Houston; brothers, Alois, Hubert and James Houston; sisters, Jessie Lee Williford and Ardolia Jones.
