Joan Lee McCoy Bean, 70, of 1960 Stevens Mill Road entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A private service will be held at a later date.
She was born Aug. 10, 1940, in Weston, W.Va.
She leaves precious memories with her beloved husband of 49 years, Robert Bean; three sons, Charles, Todd and Chris Bean of Goldsboro; one grandson, Dylan; three sisters, Norma Mazzie of Clarksburg, W.Va., Carol Sutton of Goldsboro and Johnnie Mae Ashworth of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a special niece, Diana Mann (Marc); and a host of nieces nephews other loving relatives and friends.
A sympathetic and dignified service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
