FREMONT -- Geraldine Solone Heffernan passed away Friday evening, July 1, 2011, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Heffernan was born in New York on Jan. 2, 1935, to the late Angelo and Julia Solone. She was married to the late Bernard W. Heffernan.
She is survived by two sons, Richard B. Heffernan and Stephen Heffernan (Pam Verhey) of New York; three daughters, Karen Vice (David Pope) of Roseboro, Julia Heffernan of Calypso and Eleanor Battes (William) of Fremont; one brother, Sam Solone (Melanie) of Florida; two sisters, Jospehine Lonneville and Loretta Griffin (Milton) of New York; six grandchildren, Neil Heffernan (Lauren), Nicholas Heffernan, Samantha Heffernan (Rick Harman), Whitney Seymour (Johnathan Bowden), Anthony Fennell and Stephen Heffernan. She is also survived by Angel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
