SMITHFIELD -- Dixie Shallington Pierce, 82, Smithfield, died Saturday evening.
Funeral will be tonight at 7 at Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Massey officiating. Committal service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Selma memorial Gardens.
She was born Sept. 24, 1928, daughter of the late Franklin Wiley and Hettie Summerlin Shallington. She was the widow of James Hyman Jones and Raymond Pierce.
She is survived by two sons, four daughters, a stepson and two stepdaughters.
Visitation will be tonight at 5:30 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
