JOYCE ANN MCCLENNY SMITH

RALEIGH -- Joyce Ann McClenny Smith, 78, died Monday.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Raleigh National Cemetery, 502 Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh.
She was the wife of the late George Smith.
She is survived by her children, Melba Edwards Anderson, Kavin Kuhlman, Karee Kuhlman Koob and husband, Seve Koob; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill McClenny; and three sisters, Mickey McLawhorn, Barbara Price and Betty Case.
For the past 21/2 years, Ms. Smith resided with her daughter, Karee Koob, in Raleigh, while fighting a battle with cancer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Wake County, 200 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, N.C., 27607.
