MOUNT OLIVE -- Calvin Eldridge "El" Williford, 86, died March 29, 2011.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2011, at Jordan Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer and the Rev. Robert Fulkerson officiating. Interment will be at Jordan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Wanda W. Warren and husband, Robert, of Clinton and Paula Gillentine and husband, Ricky, of Aberdeen, Miss; grandchildren, Catherine W. Coleman and husband, Lee, of Roseboro, Laura G. King and husband, Brandon, of Brandon, Miss., William Coleman and William King; special friend, Ms. Margie Warwick of Goldsboro; brother, Edison Williford and wife, Carolyn, of Newton Grove; sisters, Myrtle Smith and husband, Harvey of Princeton and Ethel Bunkers and husband, Lee, of Lehi, Utah; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Carrie Williford; wife, Erma Capps Williford; sisters, Lucy Dunn and Inez Britt; and brothers, Ed, Herman, Lester, Luther, David, Millard, Harvey and Paul Williford.
