FREMONT -- Homegoing services for Faye Goff, Fremont, will be held this evening (Thursday) at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, with visitation afterwards. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
Faye and her husband, the Rev. Wayne Goff, blessed many viewers on gospel TV WHFL 43 in Goldsboro for the past 10 years Saturday nights at 9 p.m. with the broadcast "Good News." She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband, the Rev. Wayne Goff; father, Roy Lee Cavenaugh of Fremont; mother, the late Janice Hall Cavenaugh; daughter, Donna Goff Luper (David); son, Michael Goff (Lindsey); sisters, Phyllis, Kathy and Lesley Cavenaugh; brother, Roy Cavenaugh; and grandchildren, Kimberly and Stephanie Luper, Mikey Goff and Breanna Sasser.
