WILSON -- Mildred Morton Gorman, 78, formerly of Goldsboro, died Friday, March 4, 2011.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Wilson. Interment will be at Oakdale Cemetery, Wilmington.
Mildred was a retired registered nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital with over 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Gorman Jr., and daughter, Ann Gorman Jones.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Spiron of Indian Trail and Nancy Shackleford and husband, Jeff, of Wilson; son, G.C. "Butch" Gorman III, and wife, Carolina, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
The family will be at Wilson Memorial Service, Monday from 6 until 8 p.m.
