Princess Shelby Diamond King, 3, 1705 Day Circle, departed this earthly life Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Services to honor the short, yet beautiful life of this precious child will be held Thursday at noon at Bear Creek Headquarters. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ralph McLamb and Rob Lee Roberson.
Princess leaves precious memories with her mother, Renada McLamb of the home; father, Kenneth King of the home; a brother, Isaiah McLamb of the home; two sisters, Tisha McLamb and Keasia King of the home; a grandmother, Shelby D. Herpin (George) of Augusta, Ga.; a great-grandmother, Ruth Darden of Faison; eight aunts, Felicia Farmer (David) of Pikeville, Tomekia Bell (Curtis), Chiwanda McLamb, Jo Cromarty, Chrystal Pixley, LaTosa Pixely, Tisha Joyner and Regina King; two uncles, Renado Roberson and Tamarcus Earl King; two godmothers, Tesa Pixley and Bernice Carter; three special cousins, Chanel Ford, Jamie Diggs and Diane Owens of Goldsboro; and a host of cousins and friends.
Visitation will be today from 3 to 7 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Life Celebration Chapel.
