Gearlene Leonard, 71, passed away on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Mount Olive Care and Rehabilitation Center.
The family will receive friends Monday, Feb., 14, 2011, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Vernon Braswell officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Gearlene was born in Reidsville on Sept. 22, 1939, to the late Charlie Lee Leonard and Irene Walker Poole.
Gearlene is survived by her sisters, Marie L. Lamberth of Pikeville and Jackie Lee Leonard of Kannapolis; and her brothers, William Andrew Leonard of Salisbury and Joseph Lee Leonard of Kannapolis.
