HILDA HERRING HILL

Hilda Herring Hill, 66, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Duke Medical Center.
Hilda was born in Wayne County June 6, 1944, to the late Norman and Ada Martin Herring.
She worked as a respiratory therapist at Wayne Memorial Hospital, and retired with 33 years of service.
Hilda was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of her life in the chapel, with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Cemetery in Snow Hill.
Hilda is survived by her son, Mark Hill of Goldsboro; her sisters, Janice Harrison of Goldsboro and Lois Fleming of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friend and sister, Betsy Herring of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann Hill, and her sister, Norma Thompson.
