Beatrice "Bea" Martin Austin, 95, formerly of Rhodes Road, passed away Friday morning, Jan. 21, 2011, at Brian Center in Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Austin was born Sept. 18, 1915, in Henry County, Va., daughter of the late George and Pearl Earles Martin. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is her daughter, Judi Barrett of Farmville; son, Robert "Bobby" Austin Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Donna Linnabery and husband, David, Barbara "Babs" Payne and husband, Michael, Melissa Clifton and husband, Mark, Clay Fulcher, Robbie Austin and fiancee, Michelle, Heather Sawrey and husband, Tommy, and Adam Barrett and wife, Ashley; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Austin Sr.; two daughters, Jalene Fulcher and Peggy Jarrell; two grandsons, Billy Wayne Jarrell Jr. and Robert Kenneth Jarrell; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Jarrell.
The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m., before traveling to the graveside service.
