ROGER EARL ROBERTS

FAISON -- Roger Earl Roberts, 64, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Roberts was born Nov. 5, 1946, in Duplin County to Hazel Lee Miller Roberts and the late Henry C. Roberts.
Roger was an ordained minister, and a member of Unity Baptist Church in Clinton, where he taught the adult Sunday school class.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Sara S. Roberts of the home; sons, Brad Roberts and wife, Audrey, of Dublin, Brock Roberts of Elizabethtown and Doug Roberts and wife, Monica, of San Antonio, Texas; stepson, Curtis Ramsey and wife, Kim, of Georgetown, Ky.; brothers, Gary Roberts and wife, Wanda, of Beulaville and Ronnie G. Roberts and wife, Linda of Mount Olive; sisters, Patty Sue Blackburn of Calypso and Joyce Lee Roberts and husband, Demas, of Ashland, Va.; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his father, Mr. Roberts was predeceased by son, Channing Lee Roberts.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2011, at Community Funeral Home Chapel of Warsaw. Burial will follow the service in Calypso Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at Community Funeral Home in Warsaw.
