JORDAN CHAPEL -- Joseph G. "Joe" Edwards, 93, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010.
Funeral service will be Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Jordan Chapel Bap-tist Church, with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer and the Rev. Jim Turbyfill officiating. Interment will be in Jordan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Francis E. and Lamont Futrell of Wilson and Brenda Joyce Weaver of Wilmington; four grandchildren, R.W. Weaver III and wife, Julia, Reuben J. Weaver, Julia R. Martin and husband, Allen, and Katherine F. Eatmon and husband, Bobby; three great-grandchildren, R.W. Weaver IV, James M. Weaver and Alexandria K. Eatmon; and a daughter-in-law, Rose F. Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katie E. Edwards; son, Joe Edwards Jr.; and son-in-law, R.W. Weaver Jr.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service.
