Ruby Jernigan Evans, 99, died Friday at Woodard's Care.
A funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Committal services will follow the service at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Ida Sue Bartlett Jernigan, and was married to the late Lonnie Evans.
Mrs. Evans is survived by two daughters.
