Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at 2:30 p.m., the Lord found favor in receiving unto himself our beloved Jettie N. Johnson from this life unto a land of peace.

Jettie was born May 13, 1929, to the late Willie R. Williams and the late Gertrude Robinson in Hanover County.

She received her education at Branch School of Albertson N.C.

She was a concierge for many families up until her death. She also did plenty of agriculture specialties during her lifetime.

She was an honorary member of New Salem Church in Pink Hill, N.C.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Clifton Lee Bizzell Jr.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories her only child, Marion Jenkins of LaGrange, N.C.; and adopted son, Kenneth Blue of Warsaw; a stepson, Nathan Earl Johnson of Seven Springs; a sister-in-law, Alese Williams of New York; three grandchildren, Debbie (Allen) Jones of Goldsboro, Sherrine (Candy) Farrior of Goldsboro, N.C., and Tammy Farrior of Goldsboro, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Quincy Farrior of LaGrange, N.C., and Curlisa Boseman, Curtis Boseman and Jolisa Lee Jones all of Goldsboro, N.C.; great-god-grandchild, Jalissa Johnson of Kinston, N.C.; two great-great-grandchildren, Izaiah and Jayla Morlock of Goldsboro, N.C.; a sister, Jean (Alexander) Frank of New York; three nieces of New York and Connecticut; two nephews of Durham and Wilmington; and a host of relatives and very close friends.

A viewing for Ms. Johnson will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home.

A service of remembrance will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at New Salem Church in Pink Hill, N.C. After which, Ms. Johnson and her cherished family will be escorted to the Davis family cemetery for committal rites.

For now, Ms. Johnson has crossed those celestial shores, and is now rejoicing with the angels and the 24 elders in that sweet place called Heaven.
