JACK WILSON

LUCAMA -- Ernest Bradley "Jack" Wilson, 81, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Wilson Medical Center.

Jack was born in Wayne County March 22, 1929, to the late Ernest Marion Wilson and Laura Howard Wilson.

He retired as an administration technician with the United States Army and Civil Service.

Jack was a member of Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church.

He was also a Mason, Shriner and a member of the York Rite.

Jack served in his country in the United States Marine Corps and the North Carolina National Guard.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with military honors, with the Rev. De Wayne Eakes officiating.

The family will greet friends following the service.

Jack is survived by his wife, Peggy Nethercutt Wilson; his sons, Carlton Ray Wilson and wife, Brenda, of Winston-Salem, Steven B. Wilson of Texas and Patrick S. Wilson and wife, Kim, of Lucama; a sister, Marjorie Joyner and husband, Alvin, of Wake Forest; and seven grandchildren, Garrett, Kristofer, Stephanie, Mikayah, Joshua, Bradley and Hannah.

The family would like to express its sincere appreciation to his caregivers, Kim Wilson, Jessica Holland, Clay Price, Eddie Smith, Greg Waddell and the Lucama Fire Department and First Responders.
