Janie Lee Isler, 87, 206 Dillard St., Goldsboro, N.C., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Greenleaf Christian Church, 2110 N. Wilson Highway in Goldsboro, N.C., with the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The public viewing will be held Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St. in Goldsboro, N.C., and the family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. at the chapel.
Ms. Isler is survived by three sisters, Bessie I. Scott, Lillie I. King and Ella I. (Jasper) Horne all of Goldsboro, N.C.; a brother, David (Evangeline) Isler Jr. of Goldsboro, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
