Joseph Peterson Harris, 54, of 308 E. Grainger Ave., Kinston, died Wednesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Center in Browntown, with Bishop Charles White officiating. Burial will follow in Dunn's Cemetery in Kinston.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Bertha Williams step-father, Paul; his father, Andrew Harris of Kinston; wife, Brenda Harris of the home; four children and four step-children.
A viewing will be held on Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.
