CUMMING, Ga -- Janice Bizzell Scovel, 83, of Goldsboro, N.C., died Oct. 4, 2010, in Cumming, Ga.
Mrs. Scovel was preceded in death by her mother, Erna Metz Bizzell; her father, Charles Herbert Bizzell; and her brother, Robert C. Bizzell.
She is survived by her husband, Edwin Graham Scovel of Goldsboro; her daughter, Mary Erna Scovel of Atlanta, Ga.; and her brother, E. Metz Bizzell and his wife; Hilda Ivey Bizzell, of Cumming, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Goldsboro, with the Rev. Gene Carpenter officiating. Burial will be Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, in Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, N.C.
The family will receive friends at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church during the hour prior to the funeral.
