A homegoing celebration for Charity Herring Morris, 78, 511 West Ash St., who died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church, with bishop Alton Smith as eulogist. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park North.
She was born Oct. 29, 1931, to the late Noah Edward and Mary Jane Herring.
She is survived by five children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel.
