James "David" Caputo, 54, of Wilson died Thursday.
A celebration of his life was held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Park. Mark Woolard will officiate.
Mr. Caputo is survived by his wife, Karen Downer Caputo, and two children.
The family received friends Saturday at the funeral home immediately following the service, and will accept visitors at other times at the residence.
